Cold Beer (aka Colfax Tavern), near Cimarron, NM This place features great music like Dale Watson, Bill and Bonnie Hearne, the Buckarettes, and (hopefully next year) the Hi-Beams. It's in the middle of nowhere, more or less, between two cool Northern New Mexico towns, Raton and Cimarron. Roger Smith, the owner, also owns and operates the historic St. James Hotel in Cimarron, one of the finest old hotels I've ever stayed in.
